Taewook (Tommy) Kim is a full-time researcher in KIXLAB (the KAIST Interaction Lab) at KAIST. He earned his M.Phil. from HKUST, and B.S. from Hanyang University. He is currently working with Dr. Xiaojuan Ma and Dr. Juho Kim.
His research in Human-Computer Interaction focuses on Social Computing, Communication, and Conversational Behavior. He pursues system-building research. He is interested in designing intelligent systems that facilitate users representing their minds. He builds interactive systems encouraging people more expressive and translucent for their own emotions in Human-Human Communication, to abate stress and stay positive in their everyday lives.
He is a Ph.D. applicant for Fall 2021.
